Er. Jaideep Raje finished his schooling at St. Vincent's School and graduated with a B.E. in Civil Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Pune.
An avid sportsman since childhood, he represented his school and college in a number of sports, such as hockey and cricket. After graduating, he started his career with the leading contracting firm Bharucha and Motivala as a trainee engineer. He learned the right attitude, values, and proper work methodology with them.
With this experience at hand, and with the unflinching support of like minded Er. Ajit Bhate, he established Bhate & Raje Construction Company Pvt. Ltd. in the year 1992. Over the years, this enterprise has expanded its horizons and now has a team of about 200 engineers. It is a name of repute in the construction industry.
His acumen for quality, speed, economy, advanced technologies, and client relations has been instrumental in enabling the enterprise to make significant advances in technology.
His vision to incorporate technology in the field of construction engineering has led to a change in the concept of construction at BRCCPL, from a labour oriented work methodology to a state of the art and automated, process oriented one. Through BRCCPL, he set up a precast concrete production facility in Pune, India, called Precast India Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd., in 2012 after intense research into the requirements of prefabrication and structures suited to Indian conditions. He was a Founder Director of PIIPL.
Over the years, he has been actively involved in training activities, be it for construction tradesmen or students of civil engineering. He is associated with various organizations like PCERF and Abhinav Abhiyantriki Sthapatya Kendra, and is also on the Courses Committee and Board of Studies for the Government Polytechnic, Pune, VIIT, and Cusrow Wadia Institute of Technology. He has been playing a critical role in trying to bridge the gap between academia and industry requirements. He was also the Chairman of the Builders' Association of India, Pune Centre, for the year 2012 to 2013.
Er. Ajit Bhate completed his schooling at Shri Shivaji Preparatory Military School, Pune, in 1978. An avid sportsman, he was active in a number of sports and captained his school cricket team for two years. Further, he led his college team at Fergusson College and later at the Government College of Engineering-Pune. He is a third generation civil engineer in his family. After graduating from COEP, he joined M/s Kanetkar Associates as a Junior Engineer.
In 1992, he jointly founded Bhate & Raje Construction Company Pvt. Ltd. with his college classmate and friend, Er. Jaideep Raje. Over the years, he played a crucial role in taking BRCCPL on the path of mechanisation by encouraging the deployment of system formwork, automated reinforcement processing, the use of tower cranes, etc. BRCCPL has challenged the Indian market with an enviable combination of speed and quality of construction.
Bhate is a pioneer in the Indian world of sophisticated precast production and construction techniques. Precast India Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. was set up in 2012 through BRCCPL after intense research into the requirements of prefabrication and structures suited to Indian conditions. He currently serves as its Managing Director.
